Mississippi golfer bites off other man’s nose in feud over game?

According to authorities, a Mississippi man attacked another man after a round of golf that they had played together.

Mark Wells, 51 years old, is accused of putting his teeth in the victim’s throat in a casino parking lot on Monday night. He then fled the scene with a Tesla and turned himself in to police two day later.

Bay St. Louis police reported that Wells, the victim, and others were arguing about a Bridges Golf Course round they had played earlier in the morning.

The men continued their quarreling throughout the day. It escalated to the Hollywood Casino parking lot around 9:30 p.m. when Wells, from Biloxi, allegedly bit on the man’s face.

According to police, the bizarre and horrendous attack caused severe facial disfigurement.

He was indicted for felony mayhem. He could be sentenced to up to seven year imprisonment.

Wells was arrested in Hancock County jail on Wednesday morning after he turned himself in. Local station WXXV-25 reported Wells was released soon after he had paid 10% off a $50,000 bond.
