Rupnik was the director of Centro Aletti in Rome. He created the official image of 2022 World Meeting of Families and has designed mosaic artworks throughout the world for over 30 year.

The Redemptoris Mater Chapel was renovated in the Vatican’s Apostolic Palace. It was reopened in 1999 by the Jesuit, who is most well-known for his work.

Rupnik also designed Redemptor Hominis Church, St. John Paul II National Shrine, Washington, D.C., among other projects.

Despite being restricted in his public ministry, Rupnik received an honourary doctorate at the Pontifical Catholic University of Parana.

The Centro Aletti also continues to publish a YouTube video every Sunday of Rupnik’s comment on the Sunday Gospel. A video of Rupnik discussing eucharistic adoration was posted in Rome by the Diocese.
