Prevasio was established in Menlo Park, California in 2020. LinkedIn lists seven employees for the company. Prevasio is a startup which developed a SaaS, cloud-native app protection platform (CNAPP). This platform includes an agentless cloud cybersecurity posture management platform (CSPM), antimalware scan, vulnerability assessment, and dynamic analysis of containers. Stanford Research Institute International’s (SRI), created artificial intelligence (AI).
The companies stated that the acquisition will help AlgoSec expand its customer base and increase its portfolio of cloud security products. Prevasio, AlgoSec’s seller, will be the seller in the future.
